I’ve been a Lightspeed Internet customer for over 10 years, and they’ve consistently delivered excellent service. Their internet has been reliable, but what has impressed me most is their customer support. Whenever I’ve needed technical help or had a billing question, I’ve been able to reach someone knowledgeable who resolved the issue quickly and professionally.

Internet works exactly as it should. if you need any technical help they respond very quickly. problems got resolved as fast as possible. but the problems were Roger's fault. I would say and not lightspeed's fault.

I have used Lightspeed for years now across a couple of places and would highly recommend them. The service is reliable, prices are fixed once you start (and lower than almost all others) and if you call the tech people, they pick up rapidly and are excellent. You are not dealing with a chatbot or call centre in some distant country.
Never had an issue with Lightspeed so highly recommended.

Service is so exceptional that I am going out of my way to leave a review. Haven't had any service interruptions in the past 6 months; the only service provider to date with no latency drop during peak hours (I have gone through 3 different ISPs because of this). Extremely fair priced for their plans, and their equipment is included in the price. A+++

Super positive experience signing up for the service, the representatives reached out proactively to me after I tried to sign up online but had questions so paused my signup. The person I spoke with was very low pressure, kind, thorough and clear explaining options, how things worked with the pricing/charges and it was a huge plus that I didnt have to wait on hold for 100 years or deal with AI voice agents (like with other telcom companies) to get to speak with a super helpful person. The price of the service is probably half of what I used to pay and the service is twice as good!

Update – I had to call today to activate my service and the person from tech support (Nadir) who helped me was like 12/10 amazing at getting me going! I was genuinely shocked at how kind, proactive, thorough he was in everything he did to check things, get my account activated and just be all around SO helpful. I wish I had found Lightspeed a LONG time ago!

Service is pretty reliable, couple outages were due to upgrades etc. .which is understandable. Price for their plans is generally one of the cheaper ones for non-fiber speeds. Customer services has been quick resolutions with upgrading plans to fixing a billing error. Overall I would recommend lightspeed to my coworkers and friends depending on their needs.

I am extremely happy with Lightspeed. The equipment arrived super fast with clear instructions, the entire account setup and everything beforehand was so easy and simple. I got free new equipment from the get go and after installing it in 3 min which was ultra simple thanks to the helpful guides the equipment worked beautifully. Then I got into an issue with unplugging some power supply at my place and the WiFi was not working even though internet was. After reaching out to the support on the phone they gave super fast, clear professional easy instructions what I had to do to get it back on and it worked straight away! Now I learned also how to handle situations when things go south at my place. Thanks to the amazing support! Highly recommend Lightspeed!

I switched from Shaw to Lightspeed about a year ago.
My wife and I both work from home. So, reliable, consistent internet was a non-negotiable.
I was constantly having to restart my router with Shaw. It was at least once a week to a few times a day.
It was also expensive. At least $110.00 per month.
Lightspeed saves me about $20 a month, and I have only had to restart my router twice in an entire year.
It's just more reliable and costs less money. It's a no-brainer.

I’ve been with Internet Lightspeed for four years now. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Yes, the website may look dated, but since becoming a customer I’ve had reliable internet for a fraction of what the bigger telecom companies charge. During the one instance when I had a bit of a technical issue (specifically involving a faulty modem), I was met with excellent customer service: I was able to go to their office on Marine Drive, pick up a new modem, and get up and running again that very day. Would highly recommend if you’re in the market for a no-frills but highly reliable internet package.

I was unaware of an alternative to Shaw, and was pleased to learn from a friend that he uncoupled Shaw and replaced the service with Lightspeed. My Lightspeed equipment arrived within two days of ordering and installation was a breeze.
The Lightspeed technicians leave customers feeling that they are receiving service from a neighbour vs. an unknown, uncaring rep., a feeling all too familiar. I actually talked with the same tech area on successive calls as they led me throught setup.

I have had multiple accounts with Lightspeed in different cities across BC and have had excellent service…always. There has been little internet downtime and if it does ever happen, it is resolved quickly. The technical support team and the billing team are fantastic. When I deal with the sales team they are always opening to listening and providing solutions that make sense for you as a customer. The price is better than the competition for equal or better speed and performance. I highly recommend Lightspeed!!!

Such an easy sign-up, a better deal than any other provider, and no loop-holes or changes in rate afterwards. The Customer Service Rep was calm, clear and easy to talk to. A+ all around. My sister's family has used them here in Victoria for 10+ years, with no problems and no rate changes ever. That's good enough for me!

I have had their internet service for about 5 years now. The price to quality is exceptional. Once in a while I have to restart my modem, but no major issues, and a very responsive and helpful team of support is easy to reach. Highly recommend.

I had Lightspeed for years and loved it. I highly recommend it not just for the fast, reliable, Internet. But for the amazing customer service. If you ever have a problem, ask for Cedric. With perfect customer service, attitude, and professionalism, I hope he's got a raise coming up if you want to keep him. He could stroll into the top of the pay scale of any company he walked into.

I have been with Lightspeed since the mid 90’s. Their service is reliable, simple, and modern/fast. Customer service is genuinely helpful. I rarely ever call though because my internet service just works year after year, at a reasonable price.

We switched to Lightspeed quite a few years ago after Shaw decided to increase our monthly internet/cable subscription to almost $200. Lightspeed is amazing. The internet service is really seamless and costs much less than what we were paying with Shaw. Their available internet plans are so much more financially efficient than those other providers. The tech staff go above and beyond to help if you have any issue with your service. Thanks Lightspeed!!!!

I've been using Lightspeed cable for almost two years now and have been happy. I don't have high speed needs so I'm on the lower tier and it's fine for just watching tv, working, etc. They are responsive when I call them. Recently another company tried to get me to switch but the same speed was around $30 more per month, so no go!

Lightspeed is amazing. Ever since Shaw was bought by Rogers things went down hill – worse internet speeds and increased price by 10-12% for no reason (they did the same thing to me in Toronto prior so I knew this would happen) so I decided to look for a more optimal service. I am very happy with Lightspeed – so for upload and downloads speeds are 3-4 times Shaw/Rogers and I am paying a very good price! The set up was a bit cumbersome (mostly because I don't like setting anything up and because my husband plugged in TV into the modem which is a no-no at set up) but the tech support Eugene was so patient, nice, knowledgeable and helped resolve the issue no problem. I hope I will be happy with their service and I will stay a local customer for life (it seems from reviews some have even been with them for 2 decades and I agree with their high quality support – it is rare). So far so good. They also answer the phone right away no wait times – it's great.

I have been using Lightspeed for a long, long time and have referred all my family members who have used it. I love that I can get support from competent technical staff rather than an anonymous call centre. My tech-savvy friends also use Lightspeed. Thank you especially to Jonathan S., Patrick and Sal for helping resolve my recent DSL. It is unfortunate that in Delta we only have Telus and Eastlink wired connection and I have to use the Telus long loop to the DSLAM (~1km) limiting my speed to 25 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. I have tried both Telus and Eastlink (Delta Cable) but Lightspeed is the best.

No complaints. Better pricing than the big 3 (2 now, I guess), direct phone call from a team member to confirm details within an hour of ordering service, and quick activation (few hours) once the modem arrived on the weekend. Speeds as advertised as well (so far, at least)

Every single problem I have had with anything regarding my wifi and there really hasn’t been anything really, the service is very good, tech support and the help and amount of details that Lightspeed provides is fantastic. I actually enjoy calling them and talking to someone and getting things sorted so efficiently. Very efficient and knowledgeable people and great customer service. I am really glad and happy that I switched to Lightspeed from my old provider. Great prices and great service!

been with them for a while now figured id write a review. price is amazing, consistent and they dont lock you in a contract.
Edit. had issues but it was on rogers part. technician called me and helped with issues I was having in the middle of move. would suggest anyone to do 2 weeks in advance of notice prior to moving in case of rogers shenanigans. 5 star for the price and support

Was in the market for a new internet provider and my grandson suggested Lightspeed. Best decision I have made recently. Customer service is fantastic and their follow up is definitely 5 stars. I will always recommend Lightspeed over the other well known internet providers!!

Was a bit reluctant at first to make the switch to a 'no frills' internet service, but have been absolutely floored by their customer service – they CALLED ME to make sure the set up process was going smoothly – that would nnnnneeeeevvvverrrr happen with any of the big 4, until you cancel! Will be saving approximately $600.0 over the next 12 months, for faster internet speed and excellent customer service. I can't say enough about Lightspeed – go for it, you won't regret it!

Excellent service! I have had them over 10 years and it has always been reliable. When I upgraded my modem I called an actual phone number and talked directly to tech that handled my upgrade. They switched my modem over quickly. The bills are very clear to understand what you are paying for and the prices are great!

Unlike Telus and other ISPs, Lightspeed never raises prices (although it’s up to you to check back once in a while to see if prices have gone down.)
I have had problems with the equipment I purchased from Lightspeed, but after continued complaints, they were obliging enough to upgrade my modem and router and I have had consistently dependable internet access ever since. I really appreciate that.
Also, when they’ve made billing errors, they have been quick to rectify them. Phone wait times are also reasonable and service is always polite.
Overall, Lightspeed is a very good deal.

I had been a customer for around 5 years, and a competitor got me to sign a 2 year contract to get access to their fibre network. What a nightmare. After 6 months, I just had to come back to Lightspeed. Their support alone is more than worth the change. A more stable network, and better support. What more could you want? I'm never changing again.

Excellent Service and Support!
I have been a happy customer for almost 20 years! Their internet services and packages have saved me lots of money all these years compared with if I had stayed with one of the big players. From dialogue and wired to broadband and wireless, the upgrades and changes of plans were done smoothly and professionally with transparent information. The speed and support are reliable and excellent.
In 2021, I had connectivity issue. They arranged a technician to come to diagnose the cause after the technical assistance over the phone didn't solve the problem. It turned out that the modem I rented from the company was broken. The modem was replaced, and I received credit for the days without internet. I was very satisfied that the company handled the issue in a timely and methodical manner with the focus on customer service.

I've been using Lightspeed for around 5 years now and have been very pleased with their service. Rarely any issues compared to the big name competitors I've used in the past. Very short waits when you do have to call in and customer service is hands down the best compared to any other service provider. They get things right and do it quickly while offering low rates and quality speeds in my opinion.

I have dealt with Customer Service, Billing and Technicians, any and all who I have found very polite, patient and extremely experienced and familiar with all areas of their responsibilities. I have enjoyed their reasonably priced services and highly recommend them to all. I truly must say that when my son, who is a Sr Computer Systems Analyst for one of the major employers in BC, found Internet Lightspeed services for me, it could not have served the purpose better. I am a Sr woman, living alone, who just follows the instructions over the phone, no problem. It’s really nice saving all that 💸 on something else for myself. Anyone complaining about this service and prices really should be paying elsewhere.

I can’t believe how great Lightspeed Cable is. Their customer service is beyond excellent, never had to wait long on the phone to get support. They will help you in any way they can. They follow up on you and have really good technical people support. After being a customer with both Shaw and Telus switching to Lightspeed was the best thing I ever did.
