Is there an activation fee for Cable Internet Services?
At the current time Internet Lightspeed has waived the ONE-TIME NETWORK INSTALLATION charge of $82.00. So by signing up you already have saved $82.00.
Do you charge to change plans/speeds?
Currently Lightspeed does have a fee for every time you change your package or speed. Our sales staff are experts in assisting clients select a plan that would work best for you. We do allow you one free speed or package change per account or customer.
Are there any conditions for the Flash Sale?
While we do not have contracts at Internet Lightspeed, customers who sign-up for our Flash Sale agree to a 12 month commitment to receive the monthly Flash Sale pricing.
If I do not complete the 12 month commitment are there any penalties or fees?
We will be charging a $59.95 (plus applicable taxes) one time fee for not completing your 12 month (one continuous year of service) commitment with us.
Will my price increases after one year?
Our service rates are based on the CRTC mandated tariffs and volume discounts, which we pass on to customers. It is not our intention to increase your monthly rates. The price you pay today is the price you would pay in 5, 10 or 20 years. Like many of our long-term customers unless regulated to make a rate change, your monthly bill stays the same.
When will this sale end?
This is a “Flash Sale” and like the name says it can end at anytime without notice. Prices and conditions are also subject to change, due to market conditions. The prices therefore might increase or decrease without warning.
You want to use your own modem?
Only certain brands and specific models will work with Internet Lightspeed’s Home Cable Services. We maintain a network separate from other cable Internet providers and hence why our equipment requirements are different.

Wifi speeds are affected by many factors including but not limited to, the router, WiFi band (frequency), distance between computing device and router, radio interference (microwave, cellphones,remote control devices, wireless appliances etc.), and other factors.
